Inevitable wealth:
Nauru was once a flourishing country because of its abundant phosphate. The view of many countries fell on this as it is the raw material for making compost(fertilizer). Nauru generously granted the right to the fertiliser manufacturing industry to cut those phosphorous rocksfor income. Thus the mineral resources there starts to decline. Meanwhile, World War II! The natural resources of this country caught the eye of Japan; Nauru was captured by Japan. After the fall of Japan in the war, Nauru was brought under the administration of Australia followed by New Zealand and at last Britain.

The extraction of the mineral had a major impact on the ecology of the country. Yes, the history of Nauru turned out to be a cursed story. What was once a paradise in the Pacific Ocean has slowly become a horrible nation.
You can put money in the bank and live on the interest that comes from it. But what if the capital is handed over, that is, what if, the capital is destroyed? The entire country would be collapsed? Yes. That is what happened to the island of Nauru.
